Please Help!! trying to not crash game.

Ok,

so I finally pulled the trigger and bought the game on pc last night after realizing I will never get anywhere on the xbox ver anymore. I was so excited to play but for some reason all I can get the game to do is crash. I just updated my ram to 8 gig just to be safe that it would run.. here is what it does.

when I launch the game the title screen will pop up and I created a new game (random gen). it goes to the loading screen and It gets to the part where I can hear birds chirping and the wind so I know my character Is just about to load and then the window just closes. ( it is in windowed mode not sure if that is default or not). I also read to maybe try and load the launcher first and try and load the 32 ver instead of the 64 and turn down the settings.. I did that and IT WORKED! but it looks 10x worse than my xbox so im trying to figure out why the 32 will load but not the 64. if anyone can please help me im so very excited to get playing on the REAL 7 days to die but im stuck and im so frustrated. if you need ANY info to help me just let me know I will be watching for replies. have 8 gigs of ddr2 ram (cannot go any higher than 8 gig of ddr2)

So I did just do some messing around and I can run the game in 32 in the highest video settings and get around 28-30 FPS. but then I tried the absolute lowest settings in 64 and the game just shuts itself off. could this be because of my graphics card? I don't want to waist my money on a new one if that's not even the reason. only one time it gave me the error file which is below.. well some of it.

1. I am amazed you can play on that setup.

2. Can you post the client log? Instructions are in the Pinned thread. Please use Pastebin instead of just making a big wall.

 
From what i seen i meet almost all the min requirements? And like i said i can play on 32bit not 64. On top of that i can run on almost all graphics on max and still play high 20s fps. If you can let me know what you mean that your surprised i can run it? Any info will help me greatly. Ill try and figure out how to use post bin soon.

 
All of your hardware is at least one generation behind the hardware the min spec is based off of. Your CPU core clock is just over min spec, and your RAM is at least a full 5 years behind what the min spec was based on. (DDR3 was the common spec, not DDR2.) As a result, the base total clock speed of your system is going to be well below the min spec.

And to top all of that off, you've got a 9800GT. Sure it was an awesome card for it's day, but it was out-dated over 10 years ago. I have to assume that you have one of the rare 1GB variants, because the 512MB model that is common is well below the min spec.

Unfortunately, you are probably stuck with running 32-bit and with lower settings to get a decent performance out of the game, because it is extremely reliant on your CPU and RAM speeds. I would theorize that with low quality textures, and a small screen resolution like 720p you may be able to get 64-bit working again.

Keep in mind though that you are playing on hardware that was obsolete 3 years before this game was first released. As such, you are going to have to live with some caveats like being limited to 32-bit and having low texture resolution.
