Please fix controller disconnected when using mouse and keyboard

I am playing on Xbox with a mouse and keyboard and every 5 minutes my controller will shut off but I have to turn it back on to be able to play again. Please fix this it can be very annoying when you have zombies on you and then you have to turn your controller back on before you die.

Check and see in your xbox options and see if theres an option or setting about your controller falling asleep. Thats what it sounds like to me. Never have that happen to me on my PS5.

Yea there's a similar issue with just using the wireless controller and having the batteries die. Instead of pausing the game to let you replace them, life goes on while warning you a controller is needed to play the game, lol. Submitted a bug report in game hoping it gets patched soon.

This is not a bug but related to multiplayer games. if your controler dies it's your problem, not of others in the game.
Maybe in the future it might get chanced for solo play, not sure if they would since you can switch between on- and offline for the same save file.

Yea this is for offline solo play. There should be some feature that allows you to pause the game if your controller batteries die, that's a pretty basic feature in most games.

Yes, the Xbox Wireless Controller. They also offer a wired controller option if you don't mind being tethered to the console.

Yeah, I'll stick to my PS 5 lol usually on my controller the charge will last for about 6-8 hours before I have to plug it in, by the time I call it a day I'm down to 1 bar and plug it in for the night when putting it in rest mode.
