Please allow multiple people to go in the same inventory

This is likely an oversight by the development team. If the game is intended for single-player only, there's no need for inventory synchronization. For multiplayer, there's no requirement to share a single inventory, as players have their own vending machines. Merchants shouldn't need to resynchronize items sold by players.;)
 
They have commented on multiple people going into crates a number of times in the dev streams. It's something they feel has a lot of problems that they'd have to deal with and so it's very far down their list of priorities. I'd assume some of the same issues are there also for trader inventories because they have a limited number of each item and so they have to deal with keeping people from being able to buy more than is there by each buying it at the same time or whatever else. In any case, from what they've said about crates, I doubt we'll see it for either crates or traders anytime soon. But it would be nice.
 
The duplication bugs are rampant and I could only imagine the dupes and exploits that would ensue. Not that TFP cares about multiplayer or PvP, but it would be a nightmare.
 
or plant a charge on their back...can you place a charge on a players back in the trader outpost or are they protected by the trader force field?
