Player Can't see Storage Crate Labels written by others

As the title states 1 player cannot see Labels written by other players and none of us can see lables written by said player.  The problem first started on a dedicated server but since then we have restarted and am now doing a Multiplayer local game hosted on a different PC then the dedicated server was on.  They have validated their game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game.  I have done the same on my PC.  Even Cleared the Steam cache located in Appdata/local.  We are both running Windows PC's.  We are playing the game Vanilla with no mods.  Anyone else run into this issue and if so how did you fix it?

Update turns out it is only me and the other player who cannot see each other's labels.  Everyone else who plays can see both of our labels just fine.

Make sure you guys haven't blocked each other. Both in Steam and also in game

In game check the Players tab and make sure the "T" or mic icon is not red as it will mean they were blocked



Also double check they are not blacklisted in your serveradmin.xml file

OMG you are amazing.  I looked in my game settings under general and had to turn on in game chat and my friend did the same and now we can see each other's labeled boxes.

Thanks for this post! this was also our issue. Another indicator of this is if you are not able to share map points with people in your group.
