Windows Ping Problem and Error with EAC

Hey,
today, after a long period of time, a friend and I wanted to play together again, and I joined his world.
I quickly noticed that things took way too long and when I checked the player tab it said I had a Ping varying between 300-9000.
When I restarted, I couldn't even connect anymore and was hit with "kicked by EAC heartbeat from client timed out - authentication timed out".
We then tried to launch the World without EAC and I could load in again, way faster as well but yet again with a high ping.
Then I tried launching a world, only for him to have the same problem.
I've tried disabling Firewall as well etc. etc.
Both Launched on Steam.

I'm sorry if my English sounds broken as it is not my Main language and if details are missing please tell me so, so I can provide it later.
Thank you in advance.

Amy pong above 100ms breaks most internet applications. Make sure all connections are wired. Of you are on satellite internet tweak your dish install as it may be off a smidge on getting good signal (elevation, azimuth, skew are off). Also make sure you are spending at least 300 on a good internet router.

If you are both not using wired connections that is the problem. Most cheapy aps are notorious for giving 800ms pings. Also placement is everything with wireless signal as an inch makes a world of difference. Anything and i mean any object between you and the access point steals your speed. Plus unless you are on a commercial grade access point dont do wireless.

IF you are on a hotspot cellular internet, you have too many devices on it or you have an overloaded cellular tower you are connected to.

Run speedtests on speedtest.net and verify you are not having isp issues either. Bad conductors outside the house can cause issues

Hey, thank you for the response but im certain it is not a problem on our side but a game sided problem. I have a great Wifi host, am connected per cable and have a stable ping everywhere except for 7d2d.

If you are wireless get a wired connection as a test. You must rule out all possibilities on your end.

If you are on cellular internet based connections time of day has a great effect on performance. Most cell carriers lack capacity for what they aee selling and are in violation of fcc guidelines on service loads on equipment. They have not caught up to terrestrial equivalent fober connectivity yet.

If it is a server issue you will need to validate hardware and setup issues there.

As i said before, i am already using a LAN cable and am NOT Wireless. I dont know your wifi host but where i live they are trustworthy and its an underground cable that provides wifi to many houses. It is 100% definetly NOT my wifi that is the problem. My Hardware and everything is also working properly as i already said. The Problem cannot possibly be on either of our sides as it worked properly before and we both can do anything else in this world but play 7d2d

WiFi is always going to be an issue for 7 Days due to the larger amount of data being sent back and forth, and the constant data flow that is required.

It doesn't matter one bit how "reputable" your WiFi provider is. Latency and data encapsulation are going to be an issue simply because it is WiFi. Cellular data isn't much better. You need a solid cable connection.
You having a cable connection to your modem doesn't mean ■■■■ if the signal the modem relies on is Wireless. This is covered in detail in the Support FAQ Thread. The problem could also be somewhere in between yourself and the host. Not sure why people seem to think the only thing that matters is their own ISP connection. There isn't a magical link between your ISP and the other ends ISP.

As is excluding the client from your security software, which is also a very likely cause for this issue.

The game isn't going to make your ping bad unless your hardware is so poorly optimized/old that it is preventing the game from functioning properly.
