Pie Menu Glitching out.

 I'm having this major problem since the update no matter if I'm on a offline game or an online server...

anytime I hold E down to open the pie menu I cant get into anything, it took 3 hours to lock my front door because all it wanted to do was open and close when i held the E button down. The same goes for any PIE menu. cannot use lockpicks or use my inventory in my bike. The locks will just make a spam "locked" sound before ultimately not working.

THINGS I HAVE TRIED SO FAR IN ORDER :

1. Validated FIles, it initally found 5 files, logged in for one session and was working. next time i logged in it went back to what its doing

2. Recreated the problem on Online, Offline, and a new save. all the same issue

3. uninstalled 7D2D, removed all the cache and data files leftover from steam, reinstalled and problem was the same.

4. Reinstalled windows, which made me reinstall steam, and then download the game again. 

The game is literally unplayable for me at the moment because I need that "e" to work so i can lock my doors, open my bike, edit blocks. 

I am at a loss what to do.

Some things to try:

Disconnect any controllers

Check the box "use native input" in the launcher menu

In option/controls temporarily set "interact" to a different key, like F maybe, to see if that works.

Test that your E key works in a text file.

Ummm.... unless i am badly mistaken, r opens the pie menu, not e.

I realise I made a mistake but I clearly understand what's going on.
