Picking your client version

Quick question gang. I have had no issues here on selecting my "beta version" in steam to prevent automatic updates. I got my son the game recently and dont see the ability to select the individual build in steam. The only selection available to him is "opt out of all beta". Is there another setting somewhere that I have forgotten about. Thanks for any assist

That is quite unusual. I would suspect the problem is with Steam. Maybe it needs a short bit to update, or something is corrupt.

If you do have a need to get an older version, and that won't resolve itself, you can use SteamCMD to do it manually.

I think its a steam client issue. I had this happen before and what I did was to download the program since it wasn't downloaded and then try to select the version you want... Then close steam and reopen it, it was only then that I was able to get the version I wanted.

Update: The goofball had the game client running while looking to adjust.. Thanks again for the responses
