Picking up workstations Plz.

Can we Plz have the ability to pick up the workstations like the forge and workbench again? that was an important thing in the game. If you wanna move base you can pick up your workstations.

 
In the area of land claims they can be taken away. But I don't see the point in taking them away when moving. It's easier to make new ones in the new place.

As others have already said, the Land Claim Block is needed for pulling up the workstations, Dew Collectors and such.  I have heard that even campfires can be packed up, but I myself just usually leave those.

I currently make several bases, in different places, and try to get some Forges and Workbenches in at least 2-3 different places.

Make sure all mods are removed from the workstation.

Make sure all fuel is removed and completely burned (no timer remaining).

Make sure you have a land claim in that location.

Make sure all slots from crafted items are empty. 

For the forge, be sure to empty all your smelted resources before picking it up or you will lose them.

 
I tried even with all the mods removed and the fuel emptied. it still won't work

I would add make sure that it's an active land claim. 

Oh, and if it's multiplayer, doesn't it have to be your land claim and you had to be the one to put down the workstations?  I don't play multiplayer, but I think I've heard that.

Make sure the timer is done.  Just removing fuel isn't enough.  I've moved all workstations in the current version of the game, so it is possible.  Click "Turn on" just to be sure.  And make sure nothing is in queue to be crafted.  That's easy to miss.

It needs to be your land claim, but it doesn't matter who placed the workstations.  I've picked up ones placed by another person if it is in my land claim.

The point is, in early game you can get it as quest reward before you can make it yourself.

Was it damaged?

 
I did all that. I had a claim block placed, and it was within the build radius, and the workstations mods were removed and it was not damaged. I still couldn't pick it up

If you post a screenshot of your workstation (opened), someone can probably tell you what the issue is.  You can definitely pick them up.
