PC Perishton

There’s a lot to be desired with Perishton...

Small stores is my biggest gripe. May be changed eventually, who knows.

 
That's just the cost of living in the big city. The pros are that you can just set up shop on top of one of the buildings and never have to worry about hordes with a few minor safety alterations like I did on my very first play through. If you pick the right place there's even more than enough space for a giant garden on the ground and you can get yourself far enough away from the gas station to have the gas respawn for an infinite supply right there.

That said, I went there once on this current update and there was no rain. Maybe I just got lucky, but it gave me the impression that it's not constant anymore. I should go back and check again.

 
My little scout base is right on the road before the sign for Perishton heading west... As soon as I cross the bridge, it rains... If I turn around and go back across, it stops... It's never sunny in Perishton

 
I remember Clare saying something about the teams being aware of this... "issue" a while back. Haven't heard anything since, though. Maybe they couldn't figure out what was causing it to constantly rain or just decided to leave it altogether.

But hey, at least it doesn't endlessly rain in the burnt forest anymore right? :D
