XBOX PC dedicated server, Xbox friends cannot join

I have a steam PC dedicated server set up, all port forwarding is set up for 7 days and Steam. The server specs are all what is selectable on the console edition, max players is set to 8.

The server is visible to Xbox friends but they cannot join. PC friends can join. My Xbox, on my router can join, not on the LAN setting, on the dedicated server setting.

Anyone else having this problem?

I'm having a similar issue. I setup my PC dedicated server. On PS5, I can see my server, but when I tried to connect it just says "Connection Server Failed", "Unable to retrieve server information"

Yeah, I have done the trick that some people mention of reverting all settings to default and that still doesn't work. I don't know. My xbox on the same router as my server can join the server.....

That is usually caused by firewall or router blocking ports. Since you are on the same network, it goes through, but other networks can't connect. See the pinned topic that will tell you what ports need to be open/forwarded.

I don’t think it is a porting issue or firewall issue. I can have other PC’s connect to the server

Here is both the port forwarding and the firewall settings

You do not want to forward Steam ports, and you have two rules for 7 Days that are incorrect. The host port needs to be a range, and not a single port. If you cannot do that on your device, then just do the individual ports. (Or get a real modem/router)

It’s a funky AT&T router, it only allows 1 Host port and the global range is a range. I think I have it figured out. The port forwarding was going to the wrong device
