PC Password protected object inside LCB on MP server

Not sure if anyone knows, if I have a locked chest that is password protected and inside a LCB, can un-allied users access it if they know the passcode?

Also does the presence/absence of LCB affect how users interact with locked items? (other than being able to smash them open if there is no LCB)
