Worst ■■■■ing game I've ever played when it comes to updating I highly doubt I'll be able to recollect my stuff if I can still get there five stars back but for now I give them one star and a £ucking big middle ■■■■ off finger

That’s strange. Usually, if a save isn’t compatible with a new version, you have the option to stay on the old version and continue playing there. The save selection screen also clearly indicates which game version each save is compatible with.
 
No I definitely got that message and I went with the new update but today on Xbox a small hot fix just got done this afternoon and I jumped on and ironically as soon as I died and the game crashed I lost everything. it's an awesome game but to lose everything you work so hard for is pretty much rendered useless wasting my money wasting my time and I'm moving on. back to No Man's sky

Sounds rough. I've never wasted time, ever. Sucks all that fun you had playing was invalidated 'cause you have to go back to what is arguably the most fun part of the game.
