How can Fun Pimps do this, Do you have no respect, Do you think it is funny mocking JESUS like this. The bicycle and JESUS. How can i play this game knowing that fun pimps think it is OK to use lines like this.
This is the SON OF GOD. And i love JESUS. Why do you have to do this, games are to be fun and not mocking their religion.
What will happen if Fun Pimps mock the other religions.

... a player took offense at the mention of Jesus by Trader Bob. That looks to be this entry in sounds.xml...

If people are offended, perhaps it is a sign that it might be considered profane and have the profanity="true" tag added to its entry in the sounds.xml file.

PS: I hate to be cute with the URLs for Logs, etc, but I'm not sure what to put there as the location and cause of the issue is established in the description. You won't really have to reproduce it or spending any time chasing it. You'd just have to decide if the issue had merit, or not.

normally i am all for being sensitive to people's distresses but it feels kinda weird to fold in on excessive religious zealotry? if the poster was a devout christian they wouldnt be playing a zombie killing game as the whole premise is technically top-tier heresy on several fronts. it is like a vegan being irate about the name of a beef dish while eating said beef dish.....

When it comes to people's tastes there can be no debate; they like what they like and that's that. I'm not trying to overthink it. I gave the original poster a way out and mentioned it here. If TFP agrees and wants to spend one minute changing the XML, then so be it.

Exactly. It's not profanity when you're just mentioning the person's name (he actually was named "Jesus", after all) and it's talking about watching someone ride a bike. It in no way describes anything even remotely close to profanity. If anything, with Rekt having a little bit of a southern twist, I'd love to see a phrase like "You can't afford to buy anything? Well bless your heart."
