Ik ive seen some people say this is frown upon by most or just not wanted and I just wanted to hear thoughts on why. Me personally, I would love this.

1. Random Npc camps around the world
This could be a good addition to them adding bandits. It would give different set of quests such as clear a nearby bandit camp or rescue someone.

2. Random Npcs who are in danger and once you help them, you could have the option to bring the back to one of your camps to help defend.

3. The ability to get a Npc to follow you and equip them with certain weapons and ammo.

There are likely going to be NPCs of and sort when bandits get added. But they are likely static and won't move around, though that is just a guess.

As far as ones to follow you, that is very unlikely to happen for the same reason they don't do dogs... It is a challenge to properly path them over the destructible terrain that you can go over, or through things like buildings that require specific jumps. But who knows?

Well, with Behavior Interactive in the picture now, it could happen.
