PC not paying attention i drove my minibike at full speed into the radiation zone.

so how do I get it back. i cant even find it. .since i was sleeping when i drove off. I tried medic kits and running in but no luck. Do hazmat suits protect you from the radiation zone? I have never tried them. Why aren't there radiation zones in open world maps? are hazmat suits a no function item?

 
you cant get it back write it off and replace what you lost as rad zone does insane damage unless maybe god mode may work idk tho

 
i thought so too...

but a full hazmat collection with decent qualitie reduces the damage dramatically (from like 100+ per tick to 20 per tick)

 
If you can't see the bike from the edge of the zone, then it's gone.

I dont sell hazmat stuff, I scrap it for the military fiber to repair other things.

At some point, it might be fun to try getting a full set to 600 and *carefully* test it.

 
If you were sleeping, the bike may have fallen off the edge (with you on it).

I watched an episode of Capp00 (?) where he went into god mode to see what was beyond. After maybe 1KM beyond the edge of the radiation zone, the world ends. You simply fall off to infinity.

 
What you need to do is build a second mini-bike, and drive it out into the radiation at full speed and in the same direction, to see if you can find the first.

But he needs to make sure he is also sleeping at the time. Doing it fully awake is a no go.

btw...I love how the thread title says "not paying attention" which really turns out to mean "not conscious"

your only chance of getting it is if you have a rough idea of where it is first and foremost. then, you'll have to activate god mode and load up your hotbar with as many medkits as you can manage and then just fly in to where the bike might be and keep using kit after kit after kit.

but it's likely gone ..

 
Kinda did something like that. Was exploring and was trying to get around a wasteland. It was getting dark and as I came out of a burnt biome I saw the green grass. Thought, looks weird, then realized why. Glad I was going slow, quickly backed out and lived, barely. Went to a house I had passed, used up a lot of med kits, vitamins, good food and regained health. Waited till morning to find my way home. Then quit. Was exploring looking for a specific place and was sick and tired of burnt forest, wasteland, plains, desert, plains, desert and more wasteland.

Fill up your bar with first aid kits and spam them as needed until you find the bike. I have rescued bikes and bags for people that way.

That said, it's still probably easier to just build another bike.

 
I've done it a handful of times lol. But yeah what others have said, grab first aid kits and pop them preemptively to get HP per sec and make sure u slam one to full HP before getting on the bike. Put a bag outside close to the zone, you'll likly die a cpl times getting it back.

It may be easier to, if you can't build a new one easily, to run to it and dismantle it. It can take a bit of time to 180 it so I found it worked better that way. Itll drop in your bag when you inevitably die so u can just run there and auto-loot it and run back.

 
Yep, I've done that and I did recover it. I HAD to get it because of everything that was in the bike's inventory basket. If I didn't have stuff I needed in it, I would have just left it and made another one.

Basically yeah, what others have said...load up on medkits. Armor does help...not tremendously but it does. First I would run straight in toward where you lost it and see if it shows up on your mini map. If it does then you can probably get it.just drop a bedroll and a chest just outside the zone. It took me a few trips in to get it all.

Well done.

Bit of a pain but, like you said, there's stuff you need so have to get it back.

Hopefully Hazmat Suits will be more than just a trading item one day.
