Why does it say "You have insufficient privileges to reply here. " to post in the Teragon Tools thread?

We can't post in the archive section. We're waiting on some stuff with TFP to see how to move forward regarding having a thread for Teragon here. For now, if you have questions, you can start a thread in the Mods Discussions and Requests forum or (better) you can ask on Discord as we may miss it here. Why does it say "You have insufficient privileges to reply here. Thank you for letting me know. It seemed a bit strange. We can't post in the archive section. You can make a map for any game version in that version of Teragon (though 2.0 would require manual changes), though I don't know why you don't update Teragon to the current version. If it crashes on roads, you have something set up incorrectly. Compare your preset to one of the default presets.Thank you for letting me know. It seemed a bit strange.
Now that I have your attention I have a Teragon question for you.
I was unable to create a road in the latest Teragon. It would go down the list of options, hit create road and CTD.
So I was wondering what 7 Days to Die game version can I use a map made with Teragon V0.50.11.3 in.
Thank you.
Considering none of the default presets have the Create Noise Height Map command only 8 commands from the top (the closest is WG4, where it is 12 from the top), it seems you are loading some other preset. The unedited default presets have been used by a lot of people without issue, so they do work just fine.OK, well 0.52.0.0 teragon is useless. I loaded a sample preset on a brand new unaltered version, extracted from the downloaded RAR file, and Ii goes to CREATE NOISE HEIGHT MAP, 8 setting down the queue and CTDs. That is unaccountable.
I sure wish the original tread was still available. I figure I have to post here with just serious problems. I would love to ask for advice, like I used to on the old forum. If you want help, I would ask that you ask for help
It sounds like you're describing the diffuse biomes. You can disable that.OK I got the older V0.50.11.3 updated to the latest via updating. It is working so far, but I have yet to make roads. I have a question though. Is the latest version supposed to have previews of forest look like desert with small patches of green? It looks really weird and I don't like it to much. But it does say forest under the cursor in the preview.
Update:
I have "complete roads" on main roads going on a 13K map (which I know is dumb) and Teragon is using 98% of my 96GBs of free memory. This is why the VMs did not complete, as each has 24Gb om memory. I don't really mind as I have nothing else running, but it is a bit strange to use that much memory.
I do not have create side roads enabled right now, so If the result of the complete roads is not what I want I will go back to incomplete before I create the side roads.
Well I was in for a shock. My "Create Main Road" complete option has been going for 6 hours and the funny thing is it is at 220%! WTF!You do not want to use complete roads. The help text tells you that. It does nothing but wastes time and causes overlapping roads that may create odd shapes around the roads. Doing so will take a lot of resources. If you use incomplete roads like it says, you shouldn't see that much RAM used.
