No Featured News or Game news & Updates on first screen after win 11 and can't join invited game

I updated to Win 11 after upgrading hardware mobo, cpu and ram. On startup, I don't have anything on the initial screen where it shows Featured News and Game News. There are windows where the info should be and arrows at the bottom to scroll like normal but nothing there. I also cannot join a game that I was invited to. I am able to join a random multiplayer server however which makes it weirder. When trying to join game it say's "resolving multiplayer privileges" and then stops doing anything on the screen with the grey top and tree background.  Both worked prior to upgrading. I've completely wiped Steam and 7Days from the pc and reinstalled both. Performed the Verify Integrity in steam options and it stated "1 files failed to validate and will be reaquired" but I can't find anything stating what that is. I've also verified all permissions that the game needs are on as well.

Current system specs:
i7 12700k

32gb Ram

7800xt gpu

Win 11 Home clean install to new m.2

Check your system time, if it gets out of sync by a little bit you can't authenticate with EOS
I’ll be damned if that didn’t do it. Apparently even if everything is set up auto for time and date and region. If the bar that’s below that in that option area that says Sync isn’t synced. It won’t work. I went through a bunch of steps and I think what fixed it was changing time zones and then going back to where I’m at. After that it immediately synced and the game loaded properly after that. So for now it seems that was entirely the issues. Thanks for the help

You're welcome. Yeah it's a strange thing, it's not a LOT of people, but a growing number of people are having issues with time servers locally to them. In fact, I just moved not too long ago and had to switch ISP's (not to my choice), and lo-and-behold, the route from me to isp to time server had an issue and my clock got out of sync and I had the same issue. Crazy, but it is a thing going on lately.
