New motorcycle exploded and disappeared after trying to get off it while parked.

Exactly what it says in the title. Pretty ■■■■ed off about it as it was carrying all of my horde night loot and it was at 100% durability.

Anyways... I was driving it back to my camp, which happens to be next to a trader, and when I try to get off of it, it explodes, sending me flying into Trader Rekts' compound. When I go back out to see wtf happened, my bike and all of my loot is gone (along with 40000 Dukes and my level 5 impact driver). I hope this is not reproducible because it'd be annoying if this happens again.

When they explode they should at least drop a loot bag with their storage contents. But without a log or any more info it's hard to know what may have happened.

Yea honestly it was completely out of nowhere... it was definitely a glitch as the pine forest doesn't have random landmines that can one-shot a motorcycle. Made another motorcycle and hasn't happened since.

I am sorry this happened to you.
As bdubyah said, it is hard to determine what exactly happened without an output log. Maybe your vehicle was at low HP, and you parked it somewhere unstable, or hit something as you exited it. I did attempt to reproduce the issue, but was not able to.

The vehicles all drop a bag when it explodes, but it doesn't just drop on the spot. The bag is thrown upward a bit and there is no compass icon for it, so it may have rolled somewhere.
