New biome idea..

6th vehicle could be a flying mount/Jet Pack/Oppressor style thing

Or Rob Zombie with a Dragula vehicle.

New zombies, New ores, new material to upgrade to, new things to craft, new spells to cook, seems good.
 
This sounds like something for a mod, not vanilla. I think the majority of players would rather them add another real biome to the game if they decided to add another biome rather than something like this. Plus, there's already complaints about the "magic" stats on armor. I suppose they could consider it as a DLC after finishing the game, though.
 
Check out the Darkness Falls (overhaul mod) with Sorcery. I think that will scratch the itch you're looking for. Granted, I doubt it's updated for 3.0, but I'm sure it will be over the coming months or you could just roll back.

This is all assuming you're on PC, of course.
 
We just need a swamp biome I think lol
Swamp is not likely, but wetlands would be a similar option. (They'd want a biome that can be found in Arizona.)

Unfortunately, they say there are issues with too many biomes, so it doesn't sound like we're very likely to get more. However, I think there is an option available... let the person making the map choose any 5 biomes and create a map using only those 5. I'd think that would work even if there were more total biomes to choose from. Just a guess, though.... I don't know what is really causing the limitation.

But I'd definitely be interested in a wetlands biome. I'd also be happy enough if they just improved upon the sub-biomes. Make the forest have dense areas and areas where trees are rare (basically a plains area that people keep asking for). I know that's kind of there already, but improve upon it. And add more sub-biomes for the other biomes as well. And definitely add more biome decorations to help make those sub-biomes more diverse.... more kinds of trees, grasses, plants, etc.
