Unforeseen consequence of the new crouch capabilities of zombies:

Zombies passing underneath thin floors that have a 1 block gap beneath them, will cause their head and arms to clip through the floor, attacking you from underneath. Jump scare that it may be, it also poses a significant problem when trying to clear poi's, and using a caravan or other small space as a safe haven. I understand this is far from an easy problem to solve as I myself am in the game development space, but I would also like it to be taken into account how "unfair" this can feel at times.

Easily testable at NDC Checkpoint Two (T3) in the 3rd section's yellow (monitoring?) trailer, directly after the yellow bio-hazard tent, but certainly not limited to that location.
Potential fixes:
1. Limiting a zombies attack arc to x: 110° y: 60° when in the crouch state may solve the issue, though this may be difficult to fine tune without potentially introducing an unintended mechanic where they rarely strike the block above them, leading to an exploit.
2. Pathing update to prefer standing state (by a low weight/value) when choosing a path to the player.

Thank you all for the progress you've made on the game thus-far, you should all be proud.

Note: Logs will not present this issue, as I'm sure you're aware.image_2025-06-29_234751937.pngimage_2025-06-29_234824523.pngimage_2025-06-30_000145149.png

Reproduction Steps
1. Walk into the yellow trailer at NDC checkpoint two
2. Wake up/Spawn zombies on the North side of the trailer. This is assuming POI's have locked rotation spawning—if not, following natural progression, spawn them on the other side of the trailer.
3. Some will attempt to go through the door, some will go underneath and begin attacking you.
