PC Navezgane Athletic Complex

Anyone done a Clear mission at this T5?  I don't want to spoil the fun, but as one of my friends called it "that's dirty pool"

On one hand, I think I should file a bug report, but on the other, I'm 98% sure its intentional.

Edit: If you haven't, go try it, lemme know if what you think

I've had a lot of unexpected fun with T5 missions in the new POIs -- and that is to say nothing of the infestation missions! Picture it: I pull up in my bike outside the building ...  and just behind me is the truck full of the ammo we're going to need. Used to be that Infested were a good way to get ammo through the cache at the end -- now we're having to mine like it's for a horde night.

Haven't done the Athletic Complex yet, but will keep an eye out. Any chance you can post a picture of the outside so I know what I'm looking for?

I just got this mission. I've not done it before, so now I'm curious. It's T5 and they got a new "Min Script" feature for POIs that can do things like waves of zombies, so I guess I'm going in warned.

I did a T6 quest there twice. Once with raider armor and once with assassin armor. The last part is really funny, especially with molotov cocktails and assassin armor.

I have not done this one yet, but I have noticed a lot of changes overall the POIs are just...better somehow.

I feel like they have a little bit more...character? More of a theme? I really can't put my finger on it, but they've made them more interesting.

The POI team is crushing it as always.

I'm playing it now and writing this as I go. (Level 60) Observations:

So far, stealth is paying off big time. Love the wanderers. Finding great sniper angles. I've encountered maybe 2 attack volumes or trigger volumes and I was able to ditch them by fleeing and re-engaging stealth. Wow, that was a lot of Zs. I had to repair my bow. I had to craft a box of arrows. Wow, there's a lot of zombies. I was expecting the trigger on the button; stealth from the roof ditched them -- Ooh, wasn't expecting one of those. That could have been bad.

I'm at the end, but hmmm... not clear and no hints. I've missed some volumes. Oh, there's another attack volume. Broke LOS, stealth, back to finish them off. Now there's a hint. Cleared.

Creating exits and good Stealth practices made this one doable without firing a gun. It was a lot of fun; 21-hours of game time (by the game's clock) in total. Assassin armor 6, makes stealth super effective.

See JaWoodle just did this POI, kind-of with stealth too. It's a two-parter so we don't yet know how the last part plays out for him.

Apparently he's playing on insane, where I just play the default. He's in the wasteland and I was in the snow. He's 7-8 levels higher and had both stealth skills at 5, where I had them at 4. We both have Parkour but I wonder if he might have more of it. He's certainly more adept at using it than I am. His assassin armor is 6, 6, 5, 6 and no night vision, where I had 6, 6, 6, 6 with night vision. He's crossbow, silenced 44 magnum, and grenades with a willingness to cause explosions. I was compound bow with TAC Rifle, shotgun, and silenced pistol for the "oh shaving cream" moments, but didn't need them.

He's not used to stealth play (by his own admission) and is a bit hyper. Some might say that's an understatement, but he's a pro and can obviously handle more than I can, which I probably why I'm more methodical. He played the first third with a helmet light on and wearing the wrong helmet, so his stealth numbers weren't as good as they could have been. Still, he does manage to run off and lose some Z's, so he's onto the technique.

The last part was really fun with a full stealth built. A few feral burned zombies saw me and charged at me. I sliced them with the machete and they spun around. The second I was out of their line of sight they forgot that they ever saw me. I was like of the agents of the Silence in Doctor Who.

Ah, I think having missed a volume you didn't get the extra surprise.  I got the "All Clear" before I found the loot room.

It's  a rework of the old football stadium.

exactly, they've been conditioning us for literally years at this point that "All Clear" means all clear.  Then, surprise!

When we all wanted hidden/side rooms to not count toward Clear completion, we didn't realize what power we were giving them.

Finally got the Navezgane Athletics Complex.

Really like the overhaul -- zombies being disposed of in mass graves beneath the football field. I really like how they're making the spaces more believable and logically worked out. For what it's worth I thought I'd HAD the final surprise before I got the actual final surprise, because the rush moment right before it was just as surprising. Not what you want in an enclosed space.

Looting it afterward, though: three mining drills (forgot the name), two level 3s and one level 5, followed by a level 5 auto-shotgun when I was only on pump action 5.
