My Short Wishlist

Several things that I would like to see added to 7d2d, and for me are absolutely essential.

Lawnmower/Garden Tools: Something that can harvest Grass and Crops on a wide scale. Either a drivable lawnmower, a harvester mod for the 4x4, or hand tools such as a sickle<scythe<weedwhacker with wide AoE for getting all that pesky grass and flowers! Makes it so collecting these items are not so much of a chore late-game by cutting with a knife or machete one blade of grass at a time.

Chicken Coop: Late game you need meat and eggs for most of the decent food recipes, and getting eggs is a chore when you're most likely driving around in the 4x4 or flying in a gyrocopter. Chickens are a nuisance to hunt as well. Why not add a coop for late game? Eggs, Wood, Grass, and Nails to construct it and Corn Seeds to produce Eggs, Feathers, and the occasional chicken spawn that you can kill for meat.

Crossbow Ballista/Firestorm Trap: We have SMG and Shotgun auto turrets for defense, but I accumulate Crossbow Bolts and Arrows by end game that I don’t know what to do with. It would be nice to have an auto turret for Crossbow Bolts, and a Firestorm Trap for Arrows. Think of a larger Dart Trap that uses Arrows instead.

I would love to see these added, and by end game, these items are either hard to find or rendered useless, so having alternatives would be essential and an amazing addition!
 
Chicken coops are already planned.

As far as needing eggs late game... not really. Sure, if you want to make a lot of pies and such, but you don't need eggs for most late game food. I stop using eggs entirely after I get past the steak and eggs. And I almost never worry about intentionally going hunting for meat. I find enough from wolves attacking me or randomly killing animals that happen to run past me. I have tons of meat long before the late game. But either way, chicken coops are planned.

After finding your first actual armor pieces, like nomad armor or others like it from loot, grass has no other uses after that. I usually just grab like 60 grass, make the primitive armor and weapons and then use em till I find the good armor and weapons in loot, then throw the grass away. There's no point in having a lawnmower, since it'd just chew the grass into very small useless pieces to work with, it has to be long to make anything, so therefore using your hands or bone knife would be more ideal.

I like the idea of a harvester tool or vehicle but I feel like grass and flowers don’t have enough uses right now. It would be great if there were new flowers that could be used for things like dyes or even a new building material like thatch that could be made from grass. Thatch isn’t really strong though so maybe it could just be decorative. Also I really like your idea of crossbow/bow defenses. An arrow or dart trap would be sick. Also, maybe they could add another tier to crossbows and bows to make them competitive. Maybe a semi auto crossbow and a bow that could shoot multiple arrows at once. Without aiming the bow would have a wide spread like a shotgun but aiming would make it like a sniper. The fun pimps also are adding a chicken coop(hopefully in 3.1) too. I think this will be good because hopefully when bandits are added they will be able to raid bases making hoarding harder.
