Windows My own dedicated server kicks me

Hello,

I've been having some issues when playing MP.
First, I was hosting a game directly and my friends just joined and everything was kinda fine, except for one issue, my game cosntantly freezes when open inventory from time to time, it stays like that for some seconds and then I could continue playing, this was not a mayor issue as I was still be able to play. I don't know if it is a performance issue as I have an Intel i9 14th and RTX 4060, but I still got this laggy moments and freezes.

The mayor problem started when I decided to mount a dedicated server (in the same PC I play) so my mates could connect when I can't (but still at home), the first days I could play normally and I noticed that when I got these frozen moments, the server kicked me, literally everytime it happened was when I opened the inventory or some container, not much of an issue but it was kinda annoying, and I got this message everytime:

So then the real problems started, when my mates and I tried to do some quests, we went to the rally point and started it, but for some reason it was not started for some of us, more specifically, yesterday I was playing with only 1 friend, I shared my quest and started it but the objectives were updated only for him and not for me, mine were still saying "go to the rally point" and his were already in "clear the house", that was really weird so we decided to leave that area and restarted both clients and the server, when we went back, the quest zone was not loading correctly, it had invisible walls, some textures flying and so on, even after restarting the server 3 times.
So now, I was trying to give a fix to this, I reinstalled my own game and the server, but now I cannot even connect to my own server, when I do, I enter and after 30 seconds I got kicked for no reason, even being alone.
What can I do about this?
I am attaching the logs.

Thank you.

Some things to note from what I see in your logs.

The host PC has an i9-14900HX. This only has eight viable CPU cores. If either the server or the client get stuck on one of the E-Cores, it's game over. Information on Intel's CPU's in Pinned in this forum section. You will need to assign both the game client and the dedicated server to separate sets of cores, and that is only just enough cores for each. You don't have a lot of viable overhead.

Your computer is having an issue reaching critical network resources. Either because you didn't exclude the clients and save folders from security software (covered in the Support FAQ thread), or because you have a networking issue (also covered in the Support FAQ thread). It is also possible that this issue is just caused by the crappy cores that make up two thirds of your CPU.

Most of your disconnect errors are a result of the connection timing out or authentication failures. Which is likely caused by the second thing I mentioned. Might also ensure that your system clock is properly synced to internet time as well, because Windows tends to drift and that will cause authentication failures also.

I will also note that I only really looked at the first client log, and the first dedi log. We don't need six logs for the one problem. Your issue with the game client getting laggy and freezing is most likely because Windows sucks, and will put the CPU-heavy program onto the CPU-useless E-core. Has been an issue since the 12th-gen chips, and will continue to be Intel's downfall.

EDIT: One last thing. You only have 16GB RAM. That isn't enough to run both clients unless you're small map, limited settings, and only a couple of players.

Thank you very much, that's why I always go for AMD lol, but this time this PC was on sale and I needed it for work.
Thank you again, will go to the Support FAQ and hopefuly play tonight.

Hello again,

About the quest bug I have, I got it again yesterday, I was with my friends on a POI (we were in a party, obviously) I had the quest in my log and tracked and got the marker on the map, but when we got there I couldn't see the yellow mark to start the quest, and when my friend started it, mine didn't and it was failed.
Is there a way to fix this? It is the 3rd time already.

Thank you.

The only times I have run into an issue like that, is when the map data was changed on a live world.
If you edit or modify the map the world is using, the world regions would need to be reset. Even then it might not fix it. Usually you would have to start a new world.

If you start the server and the clients, then just replicate the issue, and exit all clients. Then provide just those three logs from your server, yours, and your friends from that one limited session, we might be able to see what is going on.

It may be an issue with the mods that haven't been updated since 1.2, but hard to say.
