MY Ideas for the Future of the Game

7 Days to Die is a brilliant survival game, but there are a few areas where it needs an upgrade to truly level up:

Photo Mode: A dedicated Photo Mode is a major missing feature. Players love capturing their massive bases and brutal horde nights, but currently, they have to rely on workarounds. A free-cam with filters and effects would significantly boost the community experience.

Modern Graphics Engine: While voxel-based destruction is demanding, a more optimized, modern engine (or a major engine overhaul) would greatly improve performance and visuals. Refined lighting, shadows, and textures would bring the game closer to today’s industry standards.
These improvements wouldn't just make the game more polished; they would ensure 7D2D stays relevant for years to come.

A photo mode might be something they'd consider adding, but they aren't going to change the game engine when they are at the end of development.
