PC My honest thoughts on A17 so far

A good developer knows when to give up on a certain path, and throw it all away, no matter how far down the path you got. If that path was a bad choice.
Being a developer myself, I've learned the hard way more than once that this is true. Let's just hope they hear it. Unless they want to learn the hard way too.

Well again, your opinion. In A16 I saw only 2 problems with the AI....running in circles aimlessly and spinning round on spikes. I believe A16 AI with those 2 things fixed, would be far superior to A17. And by superior I mean:

a) More fun to face

b) Less predictable / easy to exploit.
If by more fun to face you mean build a stilt base and shoot them like fish in a barrel then yes you are correct.

If by less predictable easy to exploit you mean dig down four blocks, or build a stilt base then yes you are correct.

We all know the A17 AI is still exploitable but if my meager brain can see ways to improve it I'm sure Fataal will do so ten fold. In A16 if you died to a zombie, you either fell asleep or made a monumental mistake, horde night was a joke. I'm betting that a new player in A17 will not have a clue how to exploit the AI and nighttime will be quite terrifying.
