Hello!
I've been playing 3.0.0 for a while now, and I've come up with a lot of ideas that I think could make the game an even better experience.
First, there's currently no way to craft modification tiers above Tier 1. Maybe instead of crafting them, you could combine two identical mods of the same level to create a higher-tier version. For example, combining two Level 3 Extended Mag mods would give you a Level 4 Extended Mag, and so on. It would give players another way to progress without relying entirely on RNG.
Second, let's talk about armor perks. Why do I have to invest in two out of the three armor perks just because I want to mix different armor pieces instead of wearing a full set? I think it would be much better if there were a single armor perk with one additional level. Each individual bonus could be slightly weaker, but overall it would provide the same value while automatically giving different bonuses depending on the type of armor you're wearing. Basically, three perks combined into one.
Another thing I'd love to see is more general perks. The possibilities are almost endless. I'm talking about completely new perks that improve your character rather than your equipment. For example, a perk that lets you switch weapons much faster, one that increases heat or cold resistance, or many other utility focused perks. Maybe my examples aren't the most exciting, but I've always liked perks that make your character stronger instead of only improving specific pieces of gear.
Third, weapons.
I don't have a lot to say here, but one additional weapon for each class would be great. It doesn't even have to be a completely new tier. It could simply fill the gap between existing weapons or serve as another end game option.
The more important part is making small improvements to some existing weapons. For example, making the iron sights on the Perception weapons actually usable. I'm not talking about the sniper rifle because its sights are already great. I'd also love to see some of the weapon models updated. A few of them look pretty outdated and don't really fit the overall visual quality of the game. I'd personally prefer more realistic weapon designs instead of some of the overly scrap built DIY looking guns.
Fourth, vehicles.
Please bring back the old 4x4 tires instead of the current monster truck ones. They get stuck on almost everything and seem to lose durability way too quickly.
If the old tires aren't coming back, then at least make the truck a bit more durable. Right now it's almost comical that running over a tiny cactus can take 2% or more of the vehicle's total health.
Finally, Navezgane.
I love Navezgane, but I feel like it could be even better. I'd love to see Gravestowne return to the wasteland, even if it's just as an Easter egg.
I'm also not completely convinced that the Burnt Forest needs its own large town. After spending some time in that biome, it feels unnecessary because there are already plenty of POIs and several smaller towns. To me, the Burnt Forest has always felt like a transition zone, a dangerous area that separated you from the true threat of the wasteland. Now it feels more like just another biome.
So that's it for now!
Maybe I'll come up with some more ideas later, and if I do, I'll make another post. For now, let me know what you think about these suggestions!
