My drone vanished

Playing on Xbox S and when riding the motorcycle it will freeze when too much is going on in the game.  Each time I reload and have to find my motorcycle and drone.  Usually will find it.  This last time,I can't find the drone.  Drove all over the map.  Bummed cause it was filled with stuff.  I gave up and made a new drone.  Can't place it, cause the game still recognizes the other drone.  I see you can do something on PC.  Not sure what to do?  Any suggestions?  Wish I could see it on the map.

 
I've had two drone issues.. 

1st one was at base working on traps and it got shot by darts and I went flying I was full life but the game was buggy after that so quit after reloading it turns out I died and the drone needed repare, annoying but not game breaking

2nd was riding bike pulled up to base and game crashed, came back in and now drone icon is next to my mail box, I dug to the bottom of world no luck, I flew to top of world no luck. After playing for another 20 hours I still can't place a new one. Heck I even respect skills. Gave up on world and started over. Devs know about this bug, not that they replied to my post in bug reports but I have heard a fix is coming at some point... till then I don't place the most important items in it just junk to sell or basic resources 

 
Ran around the area where I think I lost it/game crash.  Gave up.  Came back to game and it was there.
