PC Multiplayer Question

Maybe a stupid question and I know cross platform play isn't supported yet but I was curious if I have the game on gamepass on Windows if I could play with someone who has the game on Xbox. I know steam and Xbox can't play together yet, but I didn't know if gamepass and Xbox could or not.

No cross-platform play means that you cannot play with other platforms. The current platforms are PC, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S.
