PC multiplayer issue

when i join my friends game it will allow me to play for 5min then my character will freeze i can see what he does i can move but in the game im stuck in one postion and the only way to fix it is to leave and rejoin but every 5 min the same thing happens im on xbox one iv tried uninstalling the game wnd reinstalling it iv tried restarting my xbox and iv tried making my own world and when i do that he cant join how do u fix this issue

Some more details would be useful, but this is a very common issue with the Xbox when your modem/router does not properly support UPnP, or if your NAT is abnormal. It occurs on the PS4 as well, but not nearly as often as the Xbox. 

General advice is to ensure you aren't using Wifi, and to test the network connection from the device. Both systems have built-in tools for this with troubleshooting advice.

 
im having this issue as well and my nat type is ooen and im wired and my bandwidth is 12mbps for upload and 100mbps download and im still having this issue

 
Do you have a friend with a different modem/router? You could take your xbox to him (he has to open nat as usual) and see if it works. If yes, something about your router or router config (or even your provider??) is fishy.
