Windows MP Server Won't Let User Login

I host my two player MP server on my computer and for years haven't had issues with my friend logging in but last night we experienced where I could start the game and play just fine but they were unable to login and were getting hung on the "Creating Player" portion of the login and I would get logs displayed as the PNG attached. I have also attached my log files as well to see if there's more helpful information. EAC is disabled on both machines, Steam file validation performed on both machines, all mods match on both machines and have been updated. Any additional information I can provide, please let me know and any help would be greatly appreciated. *Mod list added.

Ok, so this isn't a dedicated server, it is just MP world sharing through the game client.

All three logs appear to be from the same computer. It would have been more helpful to have one single log from the client when they have the issue, and the same session log from the host.

Whichever computer this log is from, the mods are bad, obsolete, or installed incorrectly. That screenshot looks suspiciously like Vortex, which is well known to cause problems. You don't need a 3rd-party tool to extract a zip file and copy folders.
So Vortex is definitely causing a problem with the mod installation. There may be other issues with the mods, but that cannot be determined based on the way it is currently running. The full folder "C:\Users\Matt\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Mods" will need to be deleted, and then the mods will need to be installed properly. Do note that most mods that add assets or other code rely on 0_TFP_Harmony, and should be installed into the client mods folder T:/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/Mods.

I suspect that the host has the mods installed, and the player joining would need to have them installed as well. Since they don't, it causes an error because data is expected to exist but does not.

Install the mods properly and try again. Should double-check that they are actually compatible with the current version of the game client as well.
If it still doesn't work, then please provide one of each requested log.

Thanks for the info. I will remove the mods folder as it exists now, unlink Vortex from the game to avoid it trying to reinstall mods later, etc. and then reinstall the mods manually as you suggested on both machines.

Both computers did have the same mods installed and they were working a week prior (and for over a year) but in that week Windows updated, 7DD updated, Vortex updated, and one of the mods themselves updated so who knows where the originating cause is from but I also didn't know that Vortex was strongly suggested against for 7DD so I'll go around that, test again and if the problem continues, I'll get the logs off of the other users' workstation as well and update here.

Thanks again for the assist, I use this to play with my mom from across the country so having problems all of a sudden was a bit of a bummer on both our parts. Probably won't have an update on success/more logs for a couple of days but I'll get back either way.

@SylenThunder Okay, so here's an update on the situation. I have removed Vortex's link to 7DD on both machines, deleted the "mods" folder on my computer, and reinstalled the mods manually. My computer is still working fine and the mods seem to work just fine, even in the "multiplayer world" that my mom and I play in.

My mom's computer is another story. I have removed Vortex's link to 7DD, deleted her "mods" folder, and reinstalled the mods manually. She then had the same problem when trying to connect to our world on my computer through Steam. (log attached 18-39-38) I then completely uninstalled 7DD from her computer, deleted both the Steam directory of 7DD and the AppData folder for 7DD on her computer, rebooted, and reinstalled 7DD. I then manually installed the mods again. She was able to create a new single player world and play without error but when she tries to connect to my game through a Steam friend invite (like we've always done) she's getting a new error now (log attached 20-35-00) which seems to indicate that she's getting kicked from the server for some reason.

Can you provide any additional insight as to what might be occurring here now?

Thanks for all your help,

Matt
