Mouse cursor missing

I've gone through all of the standard steps and dug around through a lot of old threads, but I'm getting nowhere.

Yesterday was fine, today I have no cursor with mouse or controller when interacting with any menu screens. Both the startup menus and in-game crafting, etc menus.

I've got the targeting crosshair, and mouse/controller movement is tracked just fine, but no pointer.

I have:

• Uninstalled, reinstalled mouse drivers (Razer deathadder)
  
• Tried running without controller connected
  
• Tried different window modes
  
• Turned off steam's native controller bits
  
• Verified game files
  
• Updated video drivers (GeForce)
  
• Confirmed this only happens in 7 days, other games are fine
  

Feel like I'm losing my mind here. Any ideas?

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling 7 days as well. No joy.

Try checking "Use native input module" in the Launcher.

After much fussing, I was able to determine that this was not actually specific to 7 days. It was weirdly happening in some but not all other fullscreen games. It looks like M$ killed it in an update from the Insider Preview channel.

Ensure that your sensitivity isn't set to zero, I've seen that one a few times

It looks like M$ killed it in an update from the Insider Preview channel.

Never use preview channels on a system you are actually using. They are for testing features and stability before release. Preview channel versions can actually prevent the game client from launching.

I had the same problem, but a Windows update was implemented on 3/22 and the problem was resolved.
