Alright, a topic not about hating something or endorsing something. 

I just want my auger. 

It's day 59, I read the book, got the skills. 

How do I get motor tool parts easy?

I'm at gamestage 22 or so in my current playthrough and I've sold like 6 to the trader. But, I had to rush forge because I literally searched 15 kitchens and backyards and didn't get one cookpot or grill. The RNG gods are fickle.

Check all Working Stiff Crates, Pass n Gas Crates, Destroyed Workbenches, Toolboxes and Car Trunks you find.

They've been pretty abundant for me.  I've crafted a Q5 Auger, Q5 Chainsaw, a Q2 impact wrench (that was a mistake) and still have about 10 motor parts.

The easiest and most reliable place has been working stiff store shelves for me. I usually get 11 or more motor tool parts every time i go to a stiff. Hope that helps.

Put points in better barter and buy chainsaws from the trader.
