More survival aspect

More things to improve and make survival.

• Jars are back but only stack up too 5, water has 3 levels, contaminated, murky, clean.

• Carnivores drop contaminated meat, and spawn more often in all biomes. Making there meat less valuable

• Temperature (all ready work in progress)

• For injury like scratches, sprain and broken ribs, blood poisoning, vitamin deficiency, poisoning, bloody nose/face injury

• Food poisoning and disintary are separated and now are worst effects

• Fresh Food can spoil, canned food will not

• Harsher city's and towns

• Screamers spawn in pois and in the wild

• More zombies spawns and more specials in the wild

Alternatives:

Liquids stack to 8 (as 8 pints equal 1 gallon) ... or metric, 2 liters (as 0.2 liters).
If empty jars, then they stack to those same amounts as their volume is fixed, full or empty.

How about Animals might drop rotting meat along with some usable meat, randomized so you get less meat per kill?

I like that fresh food spoils but canned food does not. If they wanted to expand cooking they could allow for canning food, which would be a long-term survival technique. My parents still do that so that their garden harvest lasts.

I want to throw out a rough idea I had to day, inspired by my recent A16 experience. My observation of A16 wasn't that survival in terms of purifying water and hunting was hard. Purifying water was actually easier. Instead, the rough part was starting in a desert with no way to manage my temperature, not having any POIs within sight, and no source of water nearby. They equipped me with a can to collect and boil water. I just had to walk a long way to get to water.

So, the idea is that if somebody wants a survival start, start them on a different map where there is only wilderness and hardly any POIs. There would be no water sources. Then, the goal is to survive until you reach a designated map edge where you could transition to a map like RWG currently generates, which has much, much more civilization on it. The basics of survival (like cooking food and boiling water) when surrounded by houses of a fallen civilization shouldn't really be all that hard.

I'd like boiled water to still involve a dysentery chance. For true potable water, I think we should need the Chemistry Station.

I think the reloading animation is pretty close to the idea.
Something like that, tied to a heating system type mechanic, or a rate of use over
a short period, with a cooldown timer in between.

So it has more of a chance of simulating overuse in an instance would feel good.
Add a simple smoke gib to the weapon, and it would feel seamless to me. Would
promote a lot of "Them There type Moments"....and impromptu weapon switches
during some more intense fights.

Yes, and the animations would give it a more interesting touch.

Something like this implemented, in a light way, I don't think it's simulation, and the animations I think it's a good thing. The game barely has
"Something like that, tied to a heating system type mechanic, or a rate of use over

That does not sound light to me, rather annoying. But that's personal preference.

I understand that 7d is not a complex game, the pipe guns are rudimentary, that's why I suggested it.

Would I want it becoming a gun simulator, no but more gun variants is a highly requested and recurring
theme. Do I like the thought of a gun potentially jamming. Yes, it's just part of the a game activity extension.

If it were going to happen, then what means of measure that is already within the game would trigger it, or
what mechanic is already within the game that could be used to possibly make it feel right, just by using a
Tag which does not have to be added to the game either. But if it just randomly happens because the player
has it in the active slot, that would be annoying.

Is the video representation extravagant for this game, yup, but as a visual representation of the Thought, it is
correct. We only recently had the animation for consumption of goods added. For me that extends the suspension
of disbelief part of that activity. The same as the complete visual thought of a gun jamming.

The practical things I think about, Dev time, would it add to processing overhead, will it affect the ability for consoles
to handle it.

Do I like the idea yes. Just as long as it can added with care.

Yes, a couple of new weapons, improve a little gunplay, new animations, it's not like it's out of the genre of the game, the jammed weapons, I meant more for the tube weapons, as they are rudimentary and are intended for the beginning of the game. I have no idea how these things affect the performance and if the consoles would have problems.

Is the frying pan still in the game? Id like to see an extra slot in the campfire like for the cooking pot but for the frying pan. Not really a huge deal, just a simple thing but it adds a bit more to the survival aspects...Got to get the frying pan before you make bacon and eggs...If they ever add fishing you can fry fish, make fish tacos, eating fish could go towards healing wellness.
