More spawn rate granularity

Alot of what has been done this update I used to do for our game nights with the family modding XMLs myself
The one thing I would love is more granularity that was already in the XMLs with Zombie spawn rates like

Per Biome Spawn Rates ( So we can dial in biomes we want to be harder )
Time of Day Spawn Rates ( So we can build in times to relax and times of high action )
City / Wilderness Spawn Rates (so we can make cities more populated while wilderness can have less)

Right now its a all or nothing system that if on leaves no options to build in breaks. Time of day is my real wish list one the rest are like to haves.

Also wandering horde frequency would be awesome. The one a day is too predictable.
 
Ya we need a few more levels. I was playing on High density and High Spawn rate and it was practically NON STOP. I want something between Normal and High spawn rate. I got maybe 3min between killing what was in view and things spawning at my draw distance and approaching.

Normal you can wipe everything out near your base and you won't see anything until the next day. High Spawn it feels like 2-3 games hours before everything respawns.

It kinda works if you do a TWD style. High pop , Hit hard , but can be one shot. You would also want to take block damage down alot. This way you can get a breather but once you leave you get swarmed.
 
I too would like more granularity between the spawn rates as I feel like that is one of the preeminent features that would be tweaked given how much of a talking point it was before the changes due to hardware limitations presumably.

At least 2 more levels of variation but ideally it would be nice to customize by tile (wilderness, rural, downtown, industrial, commercial) and/or by biome such as forest, burnt forest, desert, snow, wasteland with deference given to tile customization over biome.
