It would be amazing to add more realistic flashlights where alkaline batteries would have to be changed. Because it doesn't make much sense that those flashlight like helm, gun or regular flashlight have an unlimited duration of light. In addition, it would add to the atmosphere if they started flashing in the middle of some POI.

While this would perfectly match the mindset that must have given us the new "it is pitchblack inside whenever it rains" feature, i doubt that it would be very popular.
On a positive side, it would certainly boost mod usage a lot and still isn't outrageous enough to get killed for just suggesting it.
