More options to craftable and functional items
To be simple and straightforward, yes, I use mods to get these things, but I would like these native possibilities in the base game.
Functional items
- Oven:
Add a Oven that can "replace" the campfire, with some "bonus". This bonus could be less heat generation, or cooking items faster, or spending less resources.
- Kitchen Sink
Add a Sink that makes it easier to collect water. The collection could be limited in some way, so as not to become an infinite source of water, EG: periodically fill the sink with a bucket of water, allowing a limited amount of collection per period.
Oven and Sink can be classified as a rarer item, or more difficult to obtain, needing to learn a recipe, like a workbench, chemical station, etc. IMO These items can even satisfy some people who like to decorate their home/base, but with a functional deco.
Craftable Itens:
- Vitamin:
Add vitamin production in the Chemical Station (or any option like a "herbal medicine"). May have something limited by recipes, gamestage or anything else, like antibiotics
- Beaker
Add Beaker's production to the workbench, or even a new workstation for this.
Not to be too easy and break the RNG, they could limit the production of only 1 item at a time, with a long period to produce, locked by recipe and etc.
- Acid
Add Acid production in the Chemical Station. For production, the same "rule" about Beaker (above) can be applied.
- Dyes
Add possibility to manufacture Dyes somehow. At the moment we can "scrap" the dyes removed from clothes/accessories and convert them into "ink buckets", but the reverse way is not possible, such as creating inks to dye vehicles, clothes, weapons and etc.
Realize that these suggestions are for better "quality of life", but not to "facilitate" the game. Anyway the rules are just suggestions, I'm sure you could add these options in balance with the game and the current RNG, without broke them.
BTW, thanks to TFP for allowing me to modify the game and get these things. I hopefully you can officially add these things to the game in the future.
