Modlet that adds old paints ?

It's just temporary - they're redoing all the textures now.

Moreover, MM spoke that they think about how that would modding (in the future) allowed to change textures.

Yup, this has stopped me from making it. I had a mock up of a plains biome that I made but it was too ugly for me (textures, especially at a distance) so I abandoned the project for now.

It was a problem with the intensity of normals (normal-maps).

During the experiments, i had some textures that looked good at a distance, it remains only to choose the color tone for the color of the grass...but i also gave up, because it is inappropriate in view of the imminent release A18.

I can't wait for them to let us make more biomes, instead of replacing ones we have now. I think my first major mod will be a biome overhaul in the future.

 
Have you tried dust2deaths hq mod?
And he has plains? There are certain problems with the plains.

As far as i know, it didn't add any extra textures to the blocks.

Or i missed something?

He has all the old a16 textures? I thought it was just a conversion of A17 textures. I thought you couldn't add more textures in A17, just replace them.

If he indeed added more then how?
