Modified Ultralight Aircraft Idea

Good afternoon everyone,

For awhile I've been wanting to get this idea out, so much so I created an account today. Anyways, I love Aviation and was wondering if an armored light sport aircraft with a mounted machine gun is a possibility? The idea is to have a pilot and a co-pilot/gunner to direct fire to a horde, essentially providing close air-support. I believe if implemented, this would be very effective in helping a team on the ground defend a base from an oncoming wave of the undead. Thank you reading this and if this goes somewhere let me know.

Best regards,

An ultralight would be fun, but they haven't wanted to add weapons to any other vehicles, so I doubt they'd add it to an ultralight if they put on in the game.  But the ultralight as a vehicle is a good idea.

The thing is though, they would need something decently capable of shooting it down (maybe once bandits come into play). For balance purposes

The issue I see is that it would need to be a level up, and a good bit faster than the gryo to make any sense in the game.

Due to the nature of the voxel world, speed is going to be heavily limited. The only real changes you could apply would be a larger storage capacity, and a requirement for longer runways to take off and land than the gyro.

True, all good points. I thought about this, and perhaps instead of adding a mounted machine gun to the Gyrocopter, we could instead have a functionality within the game to look to the side and if you have an assault rifle, you could just direct fire to ground opponents. Similar to a helicopter, where you could switch to either side (only if you're the co-pilot though) What do you all think?

Also, does anyone know how I can straight message the game developers by any chance?

You just post here and they will see.

They have repeatedly told us no to any form of weapons from a vehicle.  Maybe they'll eventually change their mind, but as of now they aren't interested in allowing that.  There are many people who have asked over the years
