Modding Help

I'm having issues in modding / inserting modlets the current version of 7DTD.

I have the mods folder in the initial directory but when I start a new world it states that it can't find the mods folder.

Where should I place the folder at?

Also it's been over a year since I played this so bare with me.

current location of mods folder.

\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Data

Just in the 7 Days to Die folder itself, not the Data folder.

\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods

Also, make sure the modlet is compatible with the game version you're running.

The odd thing is the game isn't detecting that the mods folder is there.

Nevermind I read what you said and moved it to the proper area.

Make sure you have it setup like this:

\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods\NAME-OF-MOD-FOLDER\CONTENTS-OF-MOD including the ModInfo.xml inside the mod folder itself. That's the A18 setup.
