Mod Launcher and mod questions?

I have recently returned to playing 7 Days to Die and I am interested in playing some of the mods I have seen recently such as Starvation and War of the Walkers.

The question I have is that I have installed the mod launcher so I can try several different mods without having to copy and paste over and over again. But i have noticed that the mods seem prone to some lower FPS hits on occasions and stutter from time to time, was wondering if this is a mod launcher issue? or a Mod issue?

Thank you your time, and on a side note any other mod recommendations would also be welcomed

 
The mod launcher should have low overhead. The only way I could see it hurting performance is if it’s downloading a big mod while the game’s running (if that’s even possible) and hogging your hard drive or network bandwidth. Running certain mods, though, can tax a system for sure.
