Mod for slowing down item progression

Is there a stable mod yet for slowing down item progression?

I would like to spend a little more time in the steel pipe era for weapons.

Just stretch all of the item game stages out a bit longer

Currently i am getting a sub machine gun almost always within the first 7 days. or something else similarly game breaking - for me at least.

I dont know if it's even possible to have a mod like this but I thought I would ask.

What stops you from using your pipe weapons as long as you want? If you find better weapons you don't have to use them.
