Mod for revereting the skills/xp?

So basically the consensus among my group is we want the previous Skill/xp system back. The people that like to kill zombies want to kill zombies. They dont like to craft, that's why they kill zombies. They want the builders and crafters to focus on that.

Any mods to take the skill sets back to A18?

It's the opposite, the lack of crafting. Before the crafters would craft everything and have a base + supplies stocked up. Now to craft a high level item, you have to specialize in the skill.

The direction of being self-efficient vs a group setting of working together. Two different play styles. I dont want to kill zombies, and they dont want to craft, so it was a perfect balance.

 
Hopefully the new crafting changes Madmole has planned will make crafting more engaging then it is now.  😃

Mmh, I would have thought it was this way in A18 already. Were you maybe thinking about A17 instead or even an earlier alpha?

What items are ppl not wanting to craft? Any person wanting to do only killing is going to have to put points into a certain weapons skill so they can better use that weapon. the added benefit is that person will be able to make higher level weapons. It takes less than a min to get the needed items (if you have them on hand) go to a workbench and click the craft button. Builders do the same with tools. Each set can swap high tools for high weapons. There's no such thing as crafters only. If there was that person would have to put skills into EVERYTHING and somehow get enough so they are high enough for  tools and weapons. No pain, No Gain.

That is exactly what dashbarron is complaining about. Crafting is now always distributed among a group of players, but he wants crafting to be a specialization, a job, that you can take. 

This was possible in some old alphas when crafting perks/skills were more concentrated and not combined with usage benefits.

Play Darkness Falls with it's overhauled skill system.  Play The Wasteland overhaul, it has an Attribute and Perk system that works in a way that is VERY reminiscent of Fallout 4.  Which is totally appropriate since it is a Fallout themed mod that adds supermutants, raiders, Nuka-Cola, power armor etc...

There are other overhauls that tweek the skills and crafting but I haven't played them in a couple of alphas so I am not sure what else is currently available.
