PC Minibike Speed

I noticed last night that the minibike has a speed rating, mine is at 75%. How do you get this up to 100%? Most of my parts are in the 500's already

Is the speed rating in the mini bike menu (like when you're moving inventory into the basket?) I guess I've never noticed this before either.

Yes, upper right hand corner is where it is when youre in the inventory

I thought the speed on the console was a fixed value. It has to do with the graphical rendering speed of the processor on the console. The PC bikes can drive faster than a console can render; therefore, the speed is fixed or capped.

I have noticed that a better quality engine has better gas mileage though.

That all makes sense. I am upgrading the GPU in my desktop this summer in time for a17 so hopefully i can take advantage of all of the benefits of the PC version

It is. Consoles cant render the environment fast enough. Hopefully with this new update to unity 2017, itll fix that!

So my speed is at 10m/s which seems to be the highest I’ve ever had it and is listed as normal. I’ve definitely had lower speeds. My engine and tires are both purple and every other part is blue/green.

10 is the fastest on console and I think 5 or 6 is the slowest. The engine alone determines the speed and how much noise it makes. But keep in mind the lower the quality of the bike the lower the defense and quicker repair rate. the higher quality the higher defense and slower repair rate.
