I was referring to the more recent issue, not what could happen so long ago. AFAIK, that bug hasn't been present in a long time.The forge overload bug was indeed a thing; a corrupted forge couldn't be loaded, causing an entire chunk record to get invalidated. Can't remember what time frame it was, but A14-A16 doesn't sound unreasonable...
One could assume it might've even been exploited by a pvper, at the cost of a ton of clay left in a forge in the area, as a last FU (but I doubt it).
Then again, server reset or a bug, doesn't really matter much; it wasn't really even pvp and the context is "why papa dislikes pvp".
I don't follow that "twitch thing" at all, thou, what's that about?
Nor do I follow Granny's implication that a fixed bug needs to be fixed before bandits ... it already is (iirc). But hey hoo.

Ye, even griefing aside, I don't really see the draw for pvp in 7dtd. The worlds are sparse, so very little action by default; the building mechanics are not that well suited for "active pvp play", and the performance has been quite questionable. I do see some great potential, the game is awesome for base builds etc - but I don't think that potential can really be realized without myriad changes and fixes.i don´t hate that it exists, i just don´t play it.
