Mechanical Traps (Bear trap, spike trap, fire trap, etc...)

read back and it said traps are once use then have to repair or something?

any way to make them like other traps with X durability and just reapir them? (like a dart trap or turret idk)

not sure for the darkness falls compatibility but it should work.

I'll try to make traps that last longer and a different/smaller C4 is a really nice idea too !

is there any way we can just simpliy edit teh XML to give durability or something? also, do players activate teh traps or only zombies/animals?

 
This traps are very well done! Great work!
They are nice indeed but dam on a horde night it sucks having to repair the trap with a whopping 3 iron wuickly!

The floro spikes work still after shot but have 150 hp and take 25hp per shot. Cant i reduce this in XMKL?

 
I did some quick testing and the only one that seem to work with A19 is the acid trap.

All others have visual bugs or mechanic that seem to work but dont work.

Anyone made this work in A19?

About acid trap, if nerfed a little, it is a good trap.

But Im getting en error I dont know.
"ERR Unknown particle effect: impact_stone_on_"
It happens when zeds that died on the acid traps disappear.

Anyone know what this is and what to do with it?

The previous issues are likely related to changes to the Param values on the traps.  Lokk at vanilla xml and remove the ones not used in vanilla and retest.  

On the sound, it may because the macidtrap material doesnt have a ssurface property like <property name="surface_category" value="metal"/>

 
Thanks xyth, I will try that. Im trying to add some more fun with traps without being OP, but that seem like a more difficult challenge than I thought :)
I think also some of the buffs maybe dont work properly, will try with vanilla buffs or some from other mods just to locate the issues.

After closer inspection most of this traps actually work, but they stopped working so fast so I did not notice when doing quick test. It was just to lower damage the traps received to make them more useful and longer lasting.
