PC max deployed drone reached

I'm in a shared game hosted on xbox. I can't reply my drone because I keep getting the error "[SIZE=14.6px]max deployed drone reached". I do [/SIZE]not have multiple drones, I only have one. It is in my inventory. I don't see one on the HUD or on the map. There must be a way to flip the switch on this bugged non-existent drone so I can deploy mine again.

Please help.

 
I have lost drones twice, both times I was guest in friends world. I posted it in the report bugs forum the first time several months back. No reply. Some have gotten lucky and it's come back evemtually most like me end up starting a new world and hoping it does not happen again....
