Map Preview tool entirely useless

It's a neat feature but it's horribly implemented. Zooming is really hard and I can only seem to scroll along one axis, making it almost impossible to use. Keyboard controls are spotty or don't work at all. Not sure why it's in the game in such an incomplete state.

 
You do realize this is not a finished product? The game is still in the early development stage where stuff that may only be partially working gets tested.

We're at the green phase....

I am aware. But it is laughably bad. At the very least I would expect click+drag with the mouse to scroll in all cardinal directions, but it doesn't even manage that.

 
The devs know it. The QA people know it. The devs relatives all know it. The devs neighbors know it. The devs dogs even know it. Heck, even my dog knows about it....

They will fix it when they get around to it....the game is in "alpha" after all...

 
Left-click drag: move left, right, and elevation.

right-click drag: change camera angle.

WSAD: Forward, back, left, right.

Ctrl: Lower elevation.

Space: Raise elevation.

Pretty simple, but it needs some notes on controls.
