That doesn't mean new pie in the sky recipes, it means post me a recipe using xml of a new food item using the cans we have that makes sense.

The requirement for these advanced use a can recipe is that they should use 4 ingredients, otherwise the ingredient bonus won't be there and its a waste of a good can of food.
Guys, some of you obviously didn’t read the rules. These are food recipe suggestions using canned food and having four ingredients.

Please no crafting recipe suggestions and any food recipe listed without a canned food ingredient and/or less than four ingredients won’t be considered.

Just a quick clarification request if you dont mind. Is that 4+ diffrent items i.e meat, egg. potato, cornmeal. Or 4 ingredients as in 2 cornmeal, 1 egg 1 meat? When i read it, i assumed at least 4 total items to make the food rather then individual items.

Sorry for the dumb question but i think MMs pet zombie ate my brains after an 18 hour double shift. So i cant brain atm.

I'm going to have to revisit some of mine then 🙄

Edit: Edited all of mine apart from the blueberry icecream.

4 items. Quantities of those items don’t matter. I got the impression that 5 items is okay as well but less than four items won’t register as an advanced recipe.

Thanks to those who revisited their recipes. :)

Vegetable Lasagna Recipe:

<recipename="VegetableLasagna" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags= "learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanofPasta" count="4"/>

<ingredient name="foodMushrooms" count="4">/

<ingredient name="foodPotato" count="4">/

<ingredient name="foodCornBread" count="2">/

</recipe>

(Benefit: Fills large quantity of hunger and stamina, minor healing.)

(Since there is no cheese in the game, I substituted with corn bread. Feel free to pitch in ideas/tweak the corn bread recipe if you have a better alternative. An alternative canned food type to CanofPasta is CanofPeas or CanofPears.)

Updated mine to meet the rules. The yucca fries alone though I think would make a good tier 0 level recipe for the desert. Kill a snake and get the animal fat, harvest some yucca, easy peasy.

Blueberries and coffee don't get enough love so:

<recipe name="foodBlueberryCoffeeCake" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCropBlueberry" count="4"/>

<ingredient name="foodCropCoffee" count="4"/>

<ingredient name="foodCanMiso" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCornmeal" count="4"

</recipe>

Nail Soup:

<recipe name="nailsoup" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="resourceNail" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="drinkJarBoiledWater" count="1"/>

</recipe>

Some pear recipes.

Blueberry Pear Crisp:

<recipe name="foodPearPie" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanPears" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodBlueBerry" count="2"/>

<ingredient name="resourceAnimalFat" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCornMeal" count="1"/>

</recipe>

Pear Flambe:

<recipe name="foodPearFlambe" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanPears" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="resourceAnimalFat" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="drinkJarGrainAlcohol" count="1"/>

</recipe>

It would be cool to add a flame effect to the model, the same as the effect added to a flaming weapon mod. The buff would be the "warm stew" buff.

Pear Honey:

<recipe name="foodPearHoney" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanPears" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="drinkJarBoiledWater" count="1"/>

</recipe>

Adds the same buff(s) as honey. Because it's a reduction "IRL" it should take a long time to cook.

Just for fun:

Stone Soup

<recipe name="foodStoneSoup" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="resourceRockSmall" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCanStock" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCanDogfood" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCanPeas" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCropPotato" count="2"/>

<ingredient name="foodCropCorn" count="2"/>

</recipe>

Breakfast Burrito

<recipe name="foodBreakfastBurrito" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanChili" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodCornBread" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodEgg" count="2"/>

</recipe>

(Someone might have already done this and I missed it)

Add some meat and you would get the minimum 4 items

I personally cannot think of anything, but perhaps someone could think of some food item to do with snow berries?
How about a snowberry ice cream?

<recipe name="foodSnowberryIceCream" count="1" craft_area="campfire" craft_tool="toolCookingPot" tags="learnable">

<ingredient name="foodCanPears" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodBlueBerry" count="1"/>

<ingredient name="foodSnowberry" count="3"/>

<ingredient name="resourceSnowball" count="2"/>

</recipe>

**I'm not not sure of the snowball name, & I'm at work so I can't check it.**
