Lows fps on new Insane difficulty.

As the titles say if I start a new game with insane difficulty my fps drops to 10 if i reload the game and change the difficulty back to anything else my fps goes back to normal.

Any suggestions how to address this issue?

I have tried changing the graphics settings to the lowest and still have the same issue.

I couldn't reproduce this. I started a game on insane and got the same FPS as with defaults.

Maybe it's something else.

Since difficulty doesn't change any setting that would affect FPS, you've probably got something else going on. Would need more data. Please read the Sticky threads.

Thanks sylenthunder went though the steps in the sticky and then deleted all my save games booted the game back up started a new game on insane and have full fps again.
