PC Loading shotgun Turret

Can't figure out how to load shotgun turret. Think it's wired correctly (my electric fence works), but I can't get it to accept shells or control the aim.

 
Point mouse at it and hit 'E', this should open a new window (if not, major buggy turret). In that window put shotgun ammo into slots at the top and klick button underneath to "lock it" !!

To use the aim, the turret has to be powered (i.e. turn on generator that needs to be connected to the turret). klick into the small blue rectangle that shows the current aim

 
Thanks, I'll give it another try. Think that's what I was doing; no control over Motion Sensor or Turret. All I could do was select targets (Friend/Stranger/Zombie). Maybe I'll try building another turret..... Sigh

 
First Problem (maybe): Had a Motion Sensor in series between Switch and Turret. Re-read schematic and saw that Motion Sensor was part of Turret construction. Once I removed Motion Sensor, I could manipulate control of camera vision. Still couldn't load any ammo into turret.

Second Problem (also maybe): Maybe it was a wonky turret. Built new one, mounted in same place with same wiring (but no extra Motion Sensor) and it took the ammo OK. Now to see if it will handle vultures on Day 56.... Junk Turret taking down some of them, but not all.

Thanks again for prompt response, meganoth. "Buggy turret" comment spurred me to try replacement fix.
